Jean-Luc has a decade of experience in local economic and small business development, with a passion for entrepreneurship and economic empowerment.  He holds an MBA from the University of East London and a BSc in Management Studies (Marketing) from the University of the West Indies.

Currently a Project Intern for Economic Growth at the Pictou County Partnership in Canada, he supports investment attraction through proposal writing, project management, research, and planning. Previously, as a Business Development Officer at the Jamaica Business Development Corporation, he strengthened MSMEs through capacity building and secured project funding to support their growth. Earlier, as a Community Development Officer at the Social Development Commission, he assisted Manchester communities to access project funding and increase their capacity to advocate for their development needs.
