Cheryl-Ann Vaughan is a financial services professional with over 23 years of experience in credit management, operational leadership, staff development, customer engagement, and business development within the banking and credit union sectors. She has held senior roles at Republic Bank (Barbados) Ltd. and BWU Co-operative Credit Union Ltd., where she led

credit operations, business development initiatives, and strategic growth. Her accomplishments include the redesign of credit products, rollout of member referral campaigns, and the introduction of online loan interviews and online loan applications. She also enhanced member engagement through data-driven campaigns and improved internal processes to reduce turnaround time.

Currently, Cheryl-Ann serves as Assistant Treasurer on the Board of Directors of

AffinityPlus Credit Union and is a member of the Supervisory Committee of the Barbados Co-operative Credit Union League. Her governance experience also includes serving on the board of a government secondary school and leading a leadership and development group as its President.

Cheryl-Ann holds a Master of Business Analytics, specializing in Financial Engineering and

Risk Management, and a BSc in Management with International Business from the

University of the West Indies in Barbados. She also holds certifications in Strategic

Governance, Risk and Compliance, Strategic Leadership, Fraud & Forensic Accounting, AML/FATCA Compliance, and Project Risk Management. She is passionate about continuous learning, mentorship, and business transformation.
